Discovery Day

So, yesterday was the hardest day yet. It was day 4.

I'm still not on the HCG drops, and I got the weird " I don't feel right" your-body-hates-you feeling. Two spoons of sugar fixed me right up - that was about 3pm.

Then I headed to the store and to meet my sister. She's done the diet before and gave me some tips like cheat day, bad day 800 calorie day and flavored seltzer water. 

I had a little cheat supper with a sushi/sashimi combo and then had a "baby" (smallest order size) peanut butter yogurt. She said I should drink 4 glasses of water to help flush it all out and that wouldn't ruin anything, but I probably wouldn't see a "loss" on the scale.

...but I did. 202.4 on the morning of day 5.

Am I Cheating? Really?

Onto Day 3.

Outlook - amazing.

I weighed in at 208.4 this morning. I haven't started on the HCG Drops - they should arrive in the mail today.

I discovered veal with onion powder, lemon and garlic for supper - with a big apple/romaine/balsamic salad.

Looking forward to seeing results every morning! I think it actually helps me get out of bed.

I can say though, I might be cheating with my morning coffee. I decreased the size, but I'm sticking with hazelnut and a spash of milk. Stevia sweetner, of course.

 

Outlook: Green (with Veggies)

Successful Day 1, yesterday. (Written, forgotten, and Posted after the fact the next am)

Day 2 is going with a little more ease. Aside from a business trip in 2 weeks, I think I picked the best time to start as I'll be WAY, way too busy to think about eating.

I started the day with coffee, 1 tablespoon of milk and stevia. This may have been the kicker for setting off day 2 on a good vibe. I've also been drinking green tea (lemon flavored with lemon peel) with stevia.

Lunch was fish which I cooked in a pan with some water, lid on for a steam effect. I added lemon juice, onion powder and sodium-free Mrs Dash seasoning. Fruit and Veggie of choice today?: Orange and  Celery. The celery lasted me until mid-afternoon for a snack.

I downloaded a few ibooks which were really helpful with portion sizes. I used my scale to measure everything to make sure they were just right.

I weighed in at 210.4 this morning.

Welcome to my Adventure

Hello readers -

Welcome to my HCG dieting (adventure) blog. This is my attempt to capture my HCG Diet and share my struggles and accomplishments.

I have every intention of sticking with the plan for 6 weeks:
3 weeks on 500 calories/day, and 3 weeks on 800-1000 calories/day.


I purchased HCG drops online from GNC.com; they have yet to come in the mail.

I weighed myself last night, dissapointed with 220lbs with clothes on my 5'7" frame. But,  weighed in this morning in the buff at 213.6 lbs.

This is Day 1!
Wish me luck on tea instead of coffee... hurdle 1.
